ConsumerReports.org has come up with an industry analysis according to which Apple Inc.’s tech support is said to be one of top rated in the industry so far merely due to its Genius Bar. The research-based organization recently conducted surveys on the tech support regarding customer satisfaction after which it was deduced that Apple is the choice of consumers. The survey comprised of 3,200 computer owners.

Apple products owners basically need to have their appointment scheduled with the Genius Bar whenever they encounter any hardware issue or need support. This bar is actually found on the back end of all Apple store where a team of professionals are working towards providing support and resolving any issue that might arouse. Moreover, the company will provide support on one to one basis for its core products like Macs, iPhone and iPads. Apple services in terms of customer support are one of their top rated features.

The research also dealt with Windows customers on laptops and personal computers who were merely satisfied with the tech support, Microsoft is offering since a couple of years. According to Consumer Reports, “The help desks at Windows PC companies often didn’t live up to that name. For four of the six PC brands in the survey, tech support solved only half of the problems consumers brought to them. Even the best of them—Lenovo and Dell—came through just 61 percent of the time.”

Moreover, no other brand currently has physical stores across the globe that provides support there and then. Ironically, if a Windows user encounters any problem then they need to approach customer support via calling them. However, Windows and Apple users both have the option to get tech support via chats, emails etc.

The reason behind why Apple has maintained such an efficient system is fairly simple. Apple is not only a manufacturer but is also a retailer of its products and services. so the company actually knows its device and mechanism inside out. This makes it relatively easier for them to provide tech supports to customers.

Apart from this, AppleCare+ plans are given to those customers as well whose one-year free warranty has ended so that they can opt for help anytime. Most of the users have reported a positive experience when they approached the Genius Bar with their problems. Moreover, Apple users on several platforms have expressed their support and satisfaction with Apple tech support for its efficient service that tends to make clients satisfied.
